Evening at the beach bar. Photos don't do it justice, but I love the atmosphere at the Spree in that area. It's such a cliché, and every hipster will tell you the same thing, but the way nature and urban ruins and hip bars and big factories clash, that is Berlin for me.
What's it with me and random body parts lately?
(It's kind of lame, but I love mirror pictures. Also I was bored,
and it's not like I have any artistic merit to begin with.)
The other week that shoe stood next to the fence.
(Turning a picture b/w feels like such a cop-out, but this was more about the weirdness than artistic merit anyway.)

My inner emokid is dancing with glee at how this turned out.

It's one of my favourite places in Berlin, actually, dirt and ruins and all. In its wretchedness it's just so very urban, sometimes seeming almost post-apocalyptic, especially in the "crater". I love it.
